Recently GLMF has closed a deal to bring the Bard to Avaloch. The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival in Partnership with GLMF will bring three one hour adaptations of some of the bard's work to our village. In The works are Taming of the Shrew, MacBeth and another. We are also looking for local business' to sponsor the productions. As A sponsor you will recieve add space in our program and as the Cleveland Shakespeare festivalis a non profit organization a tax write off as well.

John..........
What kind of investment are you looking for from a sponsor? Can an organization be "a" sponsor (along with others) or must it be "the" sponsor (for a particular performance, etc.)
This is very cool. I, myself, am looking for "Hamlet" as play III. However, with all the fairies that run around in the shire, I suspect a good dose of "Midsummer Night's Dream" would work, too!
Thanks for the information!

We are hoping to get some wineries involved in a wine garden near the stage that CSF will be perfoming so people can sit drink some wine and watch a little Shakespeare.

For those of you who don't know GLMF Alumni Larry Niering (ten years ago he was Bob the Mud Guy) is now the executive director of the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival. Larry was overjoyed at the idea of helping GLMF grow in New directions. What this will do for the faire is open our doors to a whole new audience. Once we get them through our doors, they will stick like fly paper. We will charm them with our amazing show and they will tell all their friends. Moo HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Moo HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA --Cough- Moo HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

That was him?! I saw that show. I didn't recognize him...but then I don't remember much from that far back....that's pretty neat...
Tell you what...you got a lot people as anxious (not me...still bored) as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs...I hope Larry is seeing all the positive energy you are putting into this season!

John...send me a message when if you get any 8-1/2"x11" advertisement flyers...I could post them at my work. We have about 10 employee bulletin boards between 5 facilities I can post them at. My work has the kind of people that dig faires and most of them know I am a ren geek.

You know. That was the only weekend I ever remember there being a sign language person. Ever since then, I have wondered why it was never done again.
