Don't know if you have heard that there is no feast this season.
That isn't entirely correct.
Just checking the flyer, and it seems they are having an after hours thing in the feast hall this season.
From 7:00 to 8:30 "This after hours get together features a singel price for all you can eat foodes and non-alcoholic drinkes, plus discounted prices on ales and wines. A variety of your favorite Faire acts and performers will be featured in this fun for all event following the Faire each day."
Not sure what the price will be though.

You're right. I see it now with the other ticket prices.
Thanks for pointing that out.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if TPTB offered free or discounted entire-season entrance to this after hours party as a season pass perk! I know I'd be grateful & excited. Especially because I'm torn between a weekend and a season pass and that would cement the decision. (Season pass baby! whoo hoo)

or at least a cheaper price for Season Pass holders since we are there every weekend See, that is just it. They already think we are getting a deal. Which technically we are. A pass only costs about the same as 3.5 days admission. So, if we come all 12 days, then we are paying a lot less to get in. Not saying a few more perks wouldn't hurt though. They should consider at least giving a season pass holder one ticket to the feast hall. If nothing else, if it is good, then the word will spread and they might get even more people buying tickets to it.

but if a faire is going to charge big faire prices, it better provide big faire amenities, which hasn't truly happened....yet... Very true. I am hoping this is the turn-around year. It should be. The notes are in place, so they shouldn't loose any food money. (which means they should rake in the dough if they don't confuse the paytrons again this year) Gate prices are up again (I swear last year the discount tickets were only $13). So even if attendance is the same, they should make more money. If the weather is better they should have a banner year for attendance if things go like last year. Heck, they had to shuttle people in on the wagon when the weather was nice. They have a few less acts, and paid cast. It's all in place. They should make money this year and be able to spend a bit more next year. Only time will tell.

Prices are up again this year.....apparently last year they "held off" on increasing them......but this year they bounced them up. As far as things changing....I agree this year will be a transition year..... there are a lot of weekend guest acts, these people are really good!!! I really hope everyone who hasn't seen them before will give them a try!!! Hopefully this year will be better than last year HOPEFULLY this year will transition new acts, more fun, and maybe things will get back on track since, IMHO, last year was lackluster.....

Now see, I had a blast last year.
I'll admit that the story line was too complex and not very compelling.
But it was the first time I got to see the Rogues and they rocked! We had Spoiled Vixen Pub Sing was a blast. The jail caused me to laugh more times than I could count. The recruiting of people to the different armies added a bit of intrigue for those who wanted to play.
So there was plenty to keep me occupied and enjoying myself. Though I do admit, it didn't have the same feel as the couple years previous.

OK, Trevor--I guess I need to check the FAQs for how to quote a post!

OK, Trevor--I guess I need to check the FAQs for how to quote a post! I fixed it. Problem was a nested quote (quoting a quote) Still had the begining of the second quote code but not the end. I removed the extra part and all is well again.
